Pamela Laws – Songwriter – in Concert*

@ Suggested ticket price, $10-$20 – Tickets at the door All ages welcome Pamela Laws is a Brooklyn, NY based singer-songwriter whose music and storytelling are shaped by her childhood running along the shoreline in West Marin and her college years busking and studying literature in Berkeley. Pamela released her first two studio albums as the lead singer and co writer of the SF based band, Seven Day Diary (Warner Brothers/Reprise Records). After moving to New York City, her solo albums, Masters & Gardeners and the follow up, The Ones I Love, were both released through Big Crowd Music. Pamela Laws’ songs weave threads of family, nature, isolation and connection, using an eclectic mix of acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, samples and percussion to paint the scenes her music is bringing to life. Pamela is joined by the very talented Bay Area based guitarist Dave Sampson (Victoria George) and Jim Mussen (Mary J Blige/Joan Osborne) on samples and percussion. *The Dance Palace is a neutral venue available for rental by community groups of varied perspectives.
