Spanish Class: Conversational Spanish and Short Stories

@ Instructor: Laura Alderdice Tuesday evenings, 7:00 – 9:00pm. Class size is limited. 10 weeks, July 7 – September 15. No class August 18 This class is designed for advanced beginner and intermediate Spanish speakers. A basic vocabulary of at least 100 words and a grasp of the fundamentals of basic verb tenses and sentence structure are recommended. Emphasis will be on conversation and literature with discussions in Spanish based on short stories and selected topics. A book of short stories will be selected and purchase will be required. The last 30-45 minutes of each session will be dedicated to learning and singing songs from the Latin American songbook. **Registration required by July 1** Scholarships available; please contact the Dance Palace office regarding scholarship registration.
