Thursdays Weeders @ Abbotts Lagoon

Join park staff & volunteers every other Thursday 10am-2pm to help restore critical coastal dune habitat at Point Reyes National Seashore! Our Thursday Weeders program is a drop-in volunteer opportunity hosted in collaboration between the National Park Service (NPS) and Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) that’s held at the Abbotts Lagoon trail and dunes within Point Reyes National Seashore. The goal of the program is to monitor for and remove invasive plants to restore coastal plant habitats at the site, while offering participants the opportunity to learn about native plants that grow in the park and the wildlife species they support.
